To apply for a scholarship, the student should first download the application packet at the link below and print it out. Complete the application form and return it along with the documents requested on the application. Send the completed application and requested documents to:

The Phi Delta Kappa Foundation, Inc. Scholarship

The purpose of the Phi Delta Kappa Foundation Inc. is to promote a fellowship within its members and the local and national communities. Phi Delta Kappa was founded in 1902 as a brotherhood of those persons seeking new and innovative ways to promote the ideals of freedom, family and the free spirit, which has made the United States of America what it is today.

The Phi Delta Kappa Foundation Inc. has established a scholarship for those people who can best articulate the ideology which is consistent with the ideals which the United States of America were founded upon. The Phi Delta Kappa Foundation Inc. is a not-for-profit entity, which does not discriminate based upon race, creed, origin of birth, gender or religion.

The scholarships are awarded based upon the criteria as set forth in this application, as well as the accompanying essay requirements. Scholarships are made payable to the student and the educational institution at which the student is enrolled. The institution need not be an academic university or college, as both technical and trade schools, as approved by the United States Department of Education, are qualified institutions for the scholarship.

Completed scholarship applications MUST be submitted to the above address no later than May 15th in order to be considered for award for the following school year. Scholarships will be awarded at the beginning of the Fall/Winter Semesters of each academic year.
